Our Key Personnel

David Worsham, RPL

President, CEO

David is the president and co-owner of Whitestone Investments, Inc., and Whitestone Oil & Gas, LLC.  He is also the co-owner of Acme Map Company, which is located in Tyler, Texas.

David started his career in the oil and gas land business in 1981 when he returned home from working for the U.S. State Department in the Middle East.  He spent almost three years in the Sinai Desert working at the Sinai Field Mission as part of the contingent that provided monitoring of the region while offering liaison support to the United Nations troops.  Since entering into the business, he has worked as a field landman and project manager on numerous projects in multiple states.  David has mentored many young landmen and strongly believes in the need to continue to train and work with new landmen to share the knowledge and expertise that seasoned landmen have acquired.  David is a member of the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen (ETAPL) and the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and still has his membership certificate from the American Association of Petroleum Landmen from 1983. David is a Registered Petroleum Landman (RPL). Because of David’s extensive history of actual field land work, he has a distinct advantage and a clear understanding of what it takes to be a field landman, thus enabling him to run a successful brokerage firm.

David is a native of Texas, with ancestry dating directly back to the Alamo.  David and Patty, his wife of 30 years, live on their farm just outside of Whitehouse, Texas.  They enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with family.
